Our clients wished to capitalise on the enviable view over the adjoining golf course from their beautiful home situated within a prestigious enclave of Sydney’s Hills District.
The layout of the original kitchen presented numerous design challenges. Our designer presented the idea of two large islands which was eagerly embraced. In order to achieve this, a large dividing wall was removed to reveal the stunning view of the backyard and golf course from the kitchen.
The traditional Hamptons profile door cabinetry, accompanied by Jet-black granite benchtops and splashbacks, perfectly offset the timeless wooden parquetry flooring and stunning decorative cornices. Complimentary decorative capping above the cabinetry along with white porcelain look antique pewter handles and knobs completed the look of timeless grandeur.
Having two islands enabled one to become a true working bench complete with dishwasher, sink and bin system allowing the second to serve as a dedicated preparation area.
The inclusion of a black Abey Schock sink and tap has added a touch of modern glamour to the granite benchtops and our clients freestanding Falcon oven takes pride of place in the centre of this stunning and functional kitchen.
