Traditional French Provincial meets Contemporary Kitchen Harrington Park

“Our client wanted to achieve a look that hinted towards French Provincial with an element of Hamptons styling for a more timeless classic look. The black granite splashbacks combined with black mirastar was a brave decision which ultimately proved to be the crowning statement of this beautiful kitchen.”
Scott Green, Designer – Harrington Kitchens

A stunning example of a black and white kitchen colour scheme that is always stylish, even the fridge! Our clients chose Dulux Lexicon Quarter strength in a Satin finish which further ramps up the elegance factor.
A curved mantel with a keystone makes the rangehood a centrepiece and a mantel shelf suspended on corbels with chimney columns allows for decorative pieces to be displayed.
The large island makes a statement with proud kicks, decorated with corbels and fluted posts, particularly with the black granite benchtops in a custom stepped edge profile.
Antique silver handles grace the cabinetry and add to the old-world glamour of this kitchen. This is completely juxtaposed by the brave choice to use black Mirastar glass as splashbacks rather than the traditional tile option. A matching black granite splashback was chosen for the mantel area.
The colour black is further mirrored in the mesh pantry doors and a traditional door profile continues the classic French Provincial look to this kitchen which will continue to wow visitors for many years to come.
