Our clients chose the ever-popular Dulux Lexicon ¼ for their kitchen cabinetry in a matt finish.  The feature island colour chosen is the dark, moody Gotham City by Porters Paints, the perfect colour to enhance their living space.

In keeping with the moody theme, black was used as a feature colour throughout – handles on the base cabinetry and knobs on the uppers.  The use of black was continued in the Oliveri Santorini granite double bowl sink which makes a dramatic statement amongst the white stone benchtop of the island. A brushed satin mixer tap is a highlight above the sink and compliments our client’s brushed stainless steel double door Westinghouse fridge.

A Miele semi-integrated dishwasher is contained within the island cabinetry and is functionally situated to the left of the sink.  An under-bench microwave is also a feature in the island.

 With storage being a premium consideration, 2 double door floor to ceiling pantries with internal drawers have been included, as well as a bi fold appliance cabinet with Malay Grey mesh inserts for a pop of variation colour. This grey compliments the striking grey, free flowing veins of the Italian inspired YDL stone Blanco Verona which has been used on all the 40mm mitred edged benchtops. 

Simple white subway tiles form the perfect backdrop for this dramatic kitchen, highlighted with upper glass cabinets with subtle cabinet downlights and simple capping to top off this luxurious kitchen.
