southern highlands hamptons with a twist white kitchen

Cottage Garden Kitchen Moss Vale

Our long-term residents of the Southern Highlands knew they wanted a kitchen to pay homage to the old bones of a country cottage. Our Classic Shaker profile with the verdant greens of Dulux Backyard (matte), exhibits great prudence.

Our cleverly positioned appliance centre has two bi-folding mesh doors. They are painted in Dulux Malay for the relationship between the grey textured French laid tiles.  Two upper fluted glass cabinets situated either side of the Hamptons Hood, relate back to the fluting of the Turner Hastings Novo Butlers sink.

The quite distinct and unique raw brass Roulette Lever Tap with a swivel gooseneck sits directly under the window and pulls in the antique brass of the Otto handle from the MOMO range.

Smeg was the go-to appliance for the freestanding oven and dishwasher, while Westinghouse was decided for the concealed hood. Our clients chose to re-use their existing fridge and microwave, which is housed on the island with a painted frame. The end of the island we introduced a melamine timber form Polytech for an ideal space for cookbooks and recipes.

Essential to the brief, like most, was achieving an island. With well informed design planning, an island was born. Now, two fluted glass pendants hang perfectly over 40mm Smartstone Davinci Blanco.  Earthy stone veining run into the Southern Cross Ceramic tiles completing the humbling experience of a Southern Highland kitchen.
