Our client wished to update her impractical kitchen in the Southern Highlands which was not making optimum use of the space available.

Our designer enhanced the layout from an enclosed curved form to a very pleasing island and L-shaped design which has completely transformed how well the kitchen flows and functions.

In keeping with the muted tones of the home Dulux Snowy Mountains half strength in a matt finish was chosen.  Rippled gloss subway tiles provide a subtle gleam behind the integrated rangehood and is the perfect backdrop for the white stone benchtops.

Statuario Dior, one of the newest stones available from Smartstone, with 40mm mitred edges was used for both the substantial island and surrounding benchtops.  This stone with its subtle shading of luminous white and contrasting greys mimicking Italian Statuario marble creates perfect elegance in this stunning new kitchen.

Custom stepped cornice was used throughout the kitchen which further enhances the dramatic look that this kitchen now creates in the home. A Bosch wall oven combined with a multi-function microwave have been included and placed for easy access and the Franke gas cooktop with its black finishes, highlights the beautiful white of the stone benchtops.

A graceful but modern Zoe Mixer tap sits on the island bench, above the Franke Centinox double bowl sink.

Splashes of black are continued as the complimentary colour in the use of bar stools, benchtop accessories and stylish metal pendants, all of which create an elegant, functional kitchen which will be enjoyed for many years to come.
