This stylish galley kitchen is unusual in that it pairs the soft elegance of Dulux Shaded Lane in a Satin finish, with another cool grey – Caesarstone’s Primordia stone. This unique stone has been carried up onto the splashback and is the perfect backdrop for the cool tones of the cabinetry.
Out of the ashes has risen this magnificent kitchen! Our clients were victims to the recent bushfires in the Southern Highlands and had to rebuild their home from the ground up.
The open plan two tone kitchen has been designed with the bush views and natural light in mind. Dulux Lexicon quarter strength combined with Dulux Mt Eden for the island complement each other perfectly.
For the benchtops our clients chose Smartstone Borghini Naturale with its beautiful matt finish and grey veining in a 40mm mitred edge for the main part of the kitchen and 60mm mitred edges on the large island, to further create a statement.
A Reece Memo Harper Butlers sink in white sits proudly below the mixer tap. The black Falcon freestanding oven and Miele dishwasher are both positioned to create the ultimate in functionality, close to the sink and the discrete butlers pantry.
For the connoisseurs a Vintec wine fridge has been placed in the nearby bar area which allows for easy access, both whilst utilising the kitchen and in the dining room whilst entertaining guests.
Esperance traditional handles in a satin nickel finish provide a touch of the traditional and are in keeping with the stunning semi industrial overhead pendant lights with their fluted glass. Large Southern Cross Ceramics Tiles in the Brighton pattern have been used as an eye catching splashback in both the kitchen and butlers pantry.
The butlers pantry has a mixture of both open shelving and closed cabinets, with a Reece Memo Hugo inset sink in the Borghini Naturale stone to match the kitchen.
The laundry has loads of storage with large floor to ceiling cupboards and a white Reece Cuisine 68 Inset Fireclay sink sits under the picturesque windows, atop 20mm Smartstone Arcadia benchtops.
A TV screen for those winter days spent ironing has been mounted on the wall and rounds off the huge amount of thought that has gone into rebuilding this beautiful home by our clients.
