Our client wanted a kitchen that incorporated the dramatic darkness of an island with the warmth of brushed brass and matt black accents and this kitchen certainly doesn’t disappoint!

The previous dated kitchen was originally in the newly created dining area and the renovation required doorways to be removed and remade, flooring removed and all new electrical and plumbing in order to create a far more functional and modern kitchen space.

Wall cabinetry in Dulux half strength Terrace White pairs beautifully with the inky moodiness of the island in Dulux Black Opal. York proud kicks add a further touch of glamour on the island which sits upon watermarked dusty grey 600 x 600 Italian tiles.

Brushed brass and matt black glass and metal pendants hang delicately over the island and compliment the specialised Statue Bronze finish on the Brodware Winslow Kitchen Mixer Tap with black ceramic handle and double bowl black granite sink from ABI Interiors. The colour scheme is continued in the use of hand made brushed brass and matt wooden black handles which grace the cabinetry.

Glass inset doors line the fully integrated Bosch rangehood with both cabinetry and underbench lighting bringing focus to the unique splashback with its hand made Spanish tiles in a Pewter finish, that truly reflects light in all directions.

A Westinghouse French Door fridge in dark stainless steel mirrors the charcoal tones of the splashback and our client chose further Westinghouse appliances with the 900mm electric cooktop and 900mm underbench oven. A Bosch dishwasher sits discretely in the island and is perfectly placed for the ultimate in functionality.

A tall appliance cabinet sits proudly atop the stunning multi coloured 40mm mitred edge Quantum Quartz Monte Bianco stone which captures the grey, white and black tones of this dramatic kitchen.

A three door shallow wall pantry is the final finishing touch to this amazing new space!
