Hello everyone and welcome to Spring 2022.
The rain seems to have finally eased off (for now anyway), and things are starting to look a little dryer and normal again. With spring comes lots of sunshine – all the colourful flowers start to bloom, and the trees come to life again. There is a certain warmth and positivity that only spring brings, and we are enjoying that feeling here at Harrington Kitchens HQ.
The winter months saw us as busy as ever – designing, manufacturing and installing many beautiful new kitchens to clients across Sydney and the Southern Highlands. Even with the change of government, rising interest rates and the general cost-of-living pressures that we are all unfortunately experiencing, we are grateful that we continue to see a strong level of interest from people wanting to build new, or renovate their existing, kitchens.
We are very fortunate to have such a great team of designers, tradespeople and support staff here at Harrington Kitchens. Our amazing team, together with our trusted and reputable material suppliers – who have been so very efficient and loyal, regardless of the circumstances – means that we have been able to supply and install all our winter kitchens projects on time and complete.
I always love seeing all the latest kitchens design trends – noticing what the popular choices are now and getting a glimpse of where things will go to next. When I drop into my local newsagent, I can’t help but to buy the latest glossy kitchen magazines. It is really amazing to see the stunning and dramatic kitchen colour choices that are trending at the moment. Two-toned and bright, multi-coloured kitchens are definitely big. I wonder if that is a reflection of our collective need for a burst of vibrance and an uplift in our mood and outlook?

This year’s winter flu season, and the ongoing challenges of the covid pandemic, presented us with quite a few hurdles to overcome. But as always, the amazing people at Harrington Kitchens rose to all the challenges that came before them. It really is a pleasure to work with such passionate and professional individuals.
We’ve recently had our hard work recognised when we were announced as a finalist in the 2022 Camden Local Business Awards! Thank you to everyone who voted or has supported us in any way over the past 12 months. We are so grateful to be recognised in this way and look forward to the presentation evening in early October.
