Hello and welcome to our 2022 Summer newsletter.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like this whole year has absolutely flown by. It’s definitely been busy, but I’m also glad that Christmas is just around the corner. It’s such a special time of year and it’s so lovely to take a break from the busyness and spend time with family and friends.
Thankfully, we have been told that we can expect a summer with less flooding and more sunshine this year. We sincerely hope that is how it plays out. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by the numerous devastating floods and ongoing recovery. They very much deserve some relief and reprieve.
Despite the optimism and positivity that usually accompanies summer, sunshine and the festive season, the reality is that interest rates and the cost of living continue to affect us all. These conditions don’t just affect individuals, but businesses and industries too. The building industry continues to struggle with managing constant material shortages, as well as securing staff to be able to keep up with the current activity levels.
Despite these overall conditions, at Harrington Kitchens we feel very fortunate that our suppliers have been absolutely amazing and we have had no major stock issues so far. This means that we can continue to schedule and deliver dream kitchen projects within our specified timeframes. In fact, we find ourselves busier than ever as we approach the end of the year and things are looking good for a great start to 2023 as well. So that is definitely something that we are very thankful for.
Our exceptional team at Harrington Kitchens have worked tirelessly this year to ensure that we are able to keep delivering the highest quality kitchens. We absolutely wouldn’t be in the position that we are in without each and every one of them and I am incredibly grateful to have them all on my team. Sending big Christmas wishes to the HK team and their loved ones.
Colours, colours, colours are still incredibly popular in the kitchens that we are working on at the moment. I wonder that perhaps it’s a reflection of the season, and positive outlook, as we move on from the events of the past few years. Lovely greens and pastel blues, along with stunning gold accessories, are in high demand.
