Two great ways to achieve this is by installing lift-up and soft-close fittings, we particularly like the Aventos range for lift-up doors and the Hettich Innotech System for soft close drawers.
There are a few different types of lift-up door systems, ultimately all of them move the door upwards when opened. The Aventos range includes four different types of lift up doors. These include bi-fold opening doors, an opening where the door swings up above the cabinet, an opening where the door stays parallel as it lifts up, and an opening where the front pivots up. All of these systems are different, to serve different purposes and can be used in any kitchen.
Blum has also created the Servo-Drive system that allows you to open and close cabinet doors with the push of a button. This fitting is used with the Aventos range to make for simple and convenient opening and closing. We currently have the Aventos HF with Servo-Drive technology on display in our Narellan showroom.
Another innovative technology is the Hettich Innotech soft close drawer System. This ensures that no matter how hard you slam the drawer, it still closes softly and effortlessly.
Both of these systems aim to make using your kitchen effortless for the whole family, while remaining stylish and practical. The Blum systems are simple and petite so you won’t even notice it in your cabinetry.
